This Course Will Cover:

Details on the specific anatomical structures of the channels is presented, including the luo and divergent meridians for each main channel. Emphasis is placed on the functional application of channel knowledge for the Qigong practitioner – both for individual practice as well as table work.

For each Acupuncture Channel covered, a selection of the most commonly used points from the channel are discussed in detail. Instruction includes: the name of the point, any special qualities or classifications the point has, the specific anatomical location, actions/functions of the point, as well as an exploration of any psychological, spiritual, and emotional uses of the point.

This course presents an overview of Acupuncture Point Classifications such as Back Shu, Xi-Cleft, Yuan Source etc. The Qigong student will expand their knowledgebase to understand the various classifications of points and what that indicates in terms of their qualities and functions in the body. This course will also include tips and tricks for mastering self-study of future points encountered in their Qigong training.

This course can be a stand-alone course, although it is recommended to have taken the TCM Foundations course prior to this one, as the material in this course will deepen that understanding when the functions of the points are discussed. However, it is not a requirement.
