Awakening the Dao Within:
Priest Ordination Trip
  As the name suggests, this is a sacred pilgrimage, not only to China, but deep into ourselves. It is a path of self-discovery, spiritual insight, and disciplined study, reserved only for qualified students who feel the call of the Dao.
On this journey, we will visit the most revered sites of the Zheng Yi (Orthodox Daoism / Original One) tradition, the ancestral halls of the Celestial Master lineage. I have always felt at home. The warmth and authenticity of the Daoist priests and abbots there is something truly unique.
Though I’ve visited sacred sites around the world, nothing compares to the depth and transformative power of a Daoist ordination ceremony. This is not a symbolic ritual—it is an initiation into a living spiritual lineage, recognized by the China Daoist Association and the Ministry of Religion.
This 2025 journey will be hosted by Temple Celestial Fire and Mindfulness Skills, as we accompany new disciples to receive formal ordination and recognition as Daoist priests.Â
