Personal Transformation and Growth
Through steady study and embodied practice, students strengthen trust in the Dao as a guiding principle rather than a concept. Over time, this clarity supports better decision-making, not through force or control, but through discernment and alignment.
The training encourages ongoing self-awareness, helping students observe habits, reactions, and internal narratives without judgment. As understanding deepens, many experience a greater sense of peace and realistic hope, grounded in acceptance of how life actually unfolds.
Measurable Lifestyle Benefits
The work is not abstract. As students apply Daoist principles consistently, struggle in daily life often decreases. Responses become more measured and behaviors shift naturally.
Instead of reacting to circumstances, students begin to act with proactive faith, trusting process, timing, and appropriate action. The result is not perfection, but steadiness and reliability in how one meets life.
The Value of Community Study
Daoist wisdom is traditionally transmitted through relationships, not isolation. Studying within a committed group exposes students to diverse perspectives that refine understanding and prevent self-deception.
Regular meetings create accountability, helping insight turn into practice rather than remaining theory. Over time, shared study deepens relationships, fostering a respectful learning environment where growth is supported without comparison or performance.

Hi! I'm Diego.
When you understand the Rules of the game... Upset, it is a choice.
I have spent more than 20 years studying and practicing Daoist teachings through formal training and personal application. My path has included long-term study of Daoist philosophy, meditation, internal cultivation, and classical texts, guided by qualified teachers and especially my root teacher, Dr. Jerry Alan Johnson.
I currently serve as an Abbot, a role that involves overseeing priests and supporting teachers. Much of my work has been devoted to teaching teachers, helping them mature not only in technique, but in discernment, responsibility, and embodiment.
Alongside my Daoist work, I have spent decades as a business advisor and executive consultant. This experience sharpened my ability to identify patterns, whether in organizations, leadership behavior, or internal human systems. Over time, it became clear that the same principles found in Daoist teachings govern both inner cultivation and effective action in the world.
My approach is direct, practical, and grounded. I focus on making sense of ancient wisdom into forms that can be applied without distortion or theatrics. My style of teaching emphasizes engaging with life as it shows up, grounded in clarity, steadiness, and alignment.
This training reflects that integration. It is offered to students who want to explore Daoist teachings and see whether they fit into their lives.
This training supports meaningful change through consistent effort. While the work can be challenging, students often find the path deeply rewarding, as clarity replaces confusion and practice becomes a reliable guide for daily life.
THIS IS THE FIRST STEP YOU'VE BEEN WAITING TO TAKE.
